Rephurbished Galaxy note 7s to Return to the market
Even though Samsung has established a cause for those Galaxy Note 7 flare-ups, the device's story is not over. Korean outlet Hankyung reports that the company will sell the "refurbished" phones, but with smaller, less-explodey batteries inside. It doesn't sound like the devices will be returning to US or European markets (it's tough to imagine regulators reversing course on bans after the first recall and reissue), but they could be sold in India or Vietnam instead.

Apple sues Qualcomm for $1 billion in royalty dispute
Apple has filed a $1 billion lawsuit against Qualcomm, claiming that for many years, the chip manufacturer has "unfairly insisted on charging royalties for technologies they have nothing to do with," CNBC reports.
This marks the end of a rough week for Qualcomm: The Federal Trade Commission on Tuesday sued the company for its alleged use of monopolistic and exclusionary tactics within the baseband processor market. Apple's lawsuit piggybacks off of these claims. For reference, baseband processors are the chips that power network connectivity in mobile devices.

Today Donald J. Trump Is Sworn In as the 45th President of the United States in a grand style
Around noon today, Donald J. Trump will become the 45th President of the United States of America. This occurs after he takes the oath of office (“I do solemnly swear [or affirm] that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”) and delivers an inaugural address, the latter of which is not constitutionally required, but is in fact one of the many precedents that was set by George Washington, who delivered his to Congress in April 1789. In 1817, James Monroe was the first to deliver his in open air before crowds, and in 1829, Andrew Jackson, who had campaigned as the common man, addressed his inaugural remarks to the American people, which is how it’s been done ever since. (This tradition may have hastened the shuffling-off of President William Henry Harrison’s mortal coil; President Harrison delivered a two-hour-long inaugural address on a freezing day in 1841 without a hat or overcoat and died of pneumonia a month later.)
Melania Trump show case Ralph Lauren for Inauguration Day
Today is a historic moment in American history and one major player in marking the occasion is First Lady Melania Trump. The first immigrant to serve as First Lady since Louisa Adams (wife of John Quincy Adams), Trump showed her American pride at the inauguration ceremony in a custom ensemble from Ralph Lauren Collection. This wasn’t the first time she has sported one of the nation’s most celebrated designers: She wore Lauren’s black pussy bow jumpsuit to the last debate and then an asymmetric version of the look in white on election night. With Hillary Clinton rumored to be wearing Lauren as well, Trump sent a message of unity and togetherness.
Best Way to get refreshed after some good workout
Have you heard of recovery showers? Apparently, there's a better way to rinse off after an intense workout—one that boosts recovery. Best part? It's not an ice bath.
The
concept of a "recovery shower" is alternating temperatures from hot to
cold. Is this an effective way to stimulate circulation and aid in
muscular recovery? "There is no yes or no answer to this question," said
Dr. Kristin Maynes, PT, DPT. "We all have to remember that every
person's body is different and may react to certain therapies
differently." That said, she totally recommends recovery showers.
"Yes,
it can be an effective aid to muscle or injury recovery; however only
for someone without an acute injury," she told POPSUGAR. So as this is a
great general method for recovery, keep in mind that if you're dealing
with an injury, you'll need to discuss this with your own physical
therapist. "If there is no injury, it [can] speed up the recovery
process, keep the body mobile, and prevent stiffness." Here's how the
recovery shower works:
Five (5) reasons why you cant run faster
You follow your training plan religiously. You're diligent about strength training, cross-training, and foam rolling. But after putting in months (or years) of hard work, you still aren't running any faster. Despite your best efforts, you haven't been able to break the half marathon PR you set two years ago or run a 5K in under 30 minutes. So, what gives?
Before you give in to self-doubt and think you're not capable of running faster race times, make sure you aren't sabotaging your hard work by doing any of these five things:
M&D's wireless MW50 headphones may not be perfect, but they sound good
Master & Dynamic has dabbled in wireless sound before, but big cans like the MW60s aren't always the most convenient to lug around. People's needs change when it's time to pack up our gear and venture out into the world, and that's why the company recently released a new set of wireless headphones: the on-ear MW50s. At $449, they're currently the least expensive wireless option in Master & Dynamic's lineup, but that's still pretty dear for a pair of wireless headphones. That said, their blend of performance and style might be worth it for some of you.

Communication beyond sight and sound
Communication will evolve in a highly remarkable way over the coming years, as interaction between human beings and machines evolves to include additional experiences and senses. The internet you can feel is on the horizon.
Today, 2D video is the most advanced form of communication people use to connect with each other. In the future, people will be able to participate in distant business meetings or attend a family gathering by sending an augmented 3D selfie. I am sure that many people are looking forward to the day it will be possible to attend events such as Mobile World Congress, the FIFA World Cup, or the Super Bowl virtually.
Did You Know About Quantum Computing?
Slightly further into the future, quantum computing promises to bring about an exponential increase in computational power. Quantum computing is a technology that builds on the quantum properties of elementary particles (qubits). Qubits can be entangled with each other and can take on intermediate values compared with ordinary bits, which can only be either 1 or 0. This way, a quantum computer can increase parallelism and radically reduce the computing efforts needed to address certain types of problems. Researchers have already succeeded in creating qubits within a semiconductor, and the first fully operational quantum computer was displayed at the end of 2015. One of the main challenges is to keep the quantum state unperturbed, which requires extremely low temperatures and very good insulation from the surrounding environment.

Ways to Overcome Recession
We all know that almost all the countries have been hit by the economic slowdown. Actually recession has not been set into action as yet while I write this article. When you read this it may have but it is predicted that recession will set in my mid June or July 2009. Most people confuse recession and economic slowdown. Job cuts have been on the rise. People are seeing lesser incentives and the whole world is experiencing a financial crisis. Anyway I will use the word recession throughout this article to avoid confusion. Is it so bad that we cannot recover from it in any way? I don’t think so. The main reason I believe that grows this recession is that most of us just sit and think about it alone.

While most forest lands within the South West are known to be very fertile for cassava farming, it is important to further verify in other to be sure of your investment.
Decide On Cassava Varieties
For good cassava production, the following varieties are recommended for their high yield and processing quality: TMS 30572, NR 8082, NR8083, TMS 4(2) 1425, TMS 81/00110, TMS 92/0326. An additional 10 varieties are in the process of being released. Check from the cassava production specialists in Ibadan
Land Preparation And Planting
A total herbicide – Round up (a glyphosate) should be applied to the land where you want to plant your cassava at the rate of 4–5 l/ha 10 days before land preparation. For cost effectiveness and optimum plant population of your cassava , mechanization and planting on ridges are recommended.
Liming
It is recommended that 5 (50 kg) bags of agricultural lime be applied /ha during land preparation.
Planting and planting material
1. Cassava Planting starts in April and can be extended to October.
2. The quantity of cassava recommended for 1 ha is 60 bundles of cassava stem.
3. Cassava Stem cuttings 25 cm long should be planted at a spacing of 1 m x 1 m.
4. Maintain 100% cassava planting rate by replacing dead or nonviable stems.
Post-planting weed control
Where a total herbicide was not used before land preparation for cassava plantation, it is recommended that a selective pre-emergence herbicide be applied within three days after planting. Five liters of Primextra is recommended /ha.
Fertilizer Use, Type And Rate
The following fertilizers and their rate/ha are recommended
• NPK 15:15:15–12 (50 kg) bags
• NPK 20:10:10–9 (50 kg) bags
• NPK 12:12:17–15 (50 kg) bags
Apply fertilizer at 8 weeks after planting your cassava. Apply fertilizer in a ring, 6 cm wide and 10 cm from the plant or broadcast with care around the cassava plant, making sure the fertilizer does not touch the cassava stem or leaves.
Yield
Cassava Yield of 25 t/ha and above can be obtained with good agronomic practices and management.
Therefore, every step must be taken seriously in the process of planting your cassava.
Note
To reduce cost of production and attain high yields, it is recommended that land preparation be fully
mechanized. A power tiller can be used if the total land area under cultivation is not more than 250ha

US Presidential Election Live
Voters who surged into polling places across America on Tuesday were sharply divided over whether either Donald J. Trump or Hillary Clinton
had the experience and character to lead the nation, and large
majorities of those who cast ballots expressed doubts about the honesty
and integrity of both candidates.
A
race that has been dominated by ugly, personal attacks appears to have
taken a toll on voters, who said in early exit polling that they had
serious misgivings about Mr. Trump’s treatment of women and about Mrs.
Clinton’s use of a private email server.

Learning How to Learn
What do you do when you just can't figure something out? For zombies, it's pretty simple. They can just keep bashing their brains against the wall. But living brains are a lot more complex. It turns out, though, that if you understand just a little bit of some of the basics about how your brain works, you can learn more easily and be less frustrated.
