The next season will mark 25 years of the European Cup that FC
Barcelona got in Wembley on 20 May 1992. During the season, the club
will honor the legendary Dream Team of Cruyff.
The first gesture will be
wearing a new jersey inspired in the clothing of that season.
In addition, during the preseason, there will be a visit to Wembley to play a friendly match there. It will be against Liverpool,
Europa League runner-up, next August 6 at 6 pm CEST and within the
framework of the International Champions Cup tournament.
In this case,
the club will play in the new stadium, because the old Wembley where
Koeman scored the goal against Sampdoria was overthrown.
The game
against Liverpool will be the last of the team in this edition of the
International Champions Cup. Previously, Luis Enrique's men will have
faced Celtic on July 30 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin and Leicester FC,
recent champion of the Premier League, on August 3 at Friends Arena in
Stockholm.
