JUST IN: NIGERIANS BANNED FROM ENTERING INDIA

grrrrrrhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Recently Goa BJP Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar faced flak from senior Congress leaders for naming a nationality for the illegal acts of some individual Nigerians in Goa.

Former Goa Chief Minister Ravi Naik, a senior Congress leader on Tuesday called for a ban by the Central government on Nigerians from entering India and demanded that Nigerian students staying illegally and indulging in illegal activities in Goa must be screened for documents and deported immediately.

On the sidelines of a press conference here, Mr. Naik who himself was at the receiving end of criticism during his previous stint as Home Minister in erstwhile Congress government over his inability to tackle drug menace in this tourist State, said that the State does not need Nigerian tourists.

Referring to Nigerians as ‘negros’, former Goa Home Minister also said that Nigerians have been causing "problems" in Goa as well other metros.

"The government of India should ban them. They should be probed. It should be checked whether many of them are here to study or for picnics or to sell drugs,” said Mr. Naik.

“Nigerians come here and do “Dadagriri”, in Delhi, Bengaluru and the entire country too. We should move the Nigerians out of here… Have they come here to study? Are they really studying? Are they really going to college, schools? Are they actually going to some bogus schools or bogus typing schools, this has to be probed. It is very important,” Mr. Naik also said, adding that even Aam Aami Party leaders had a fights with Nigerians in Bengaluru in the past.

He also recalled that some Nigerians “did so much rioting and mischief in Porvorim in north Goa” around a year back. He was referring to a blockade of a highway by over 55 Nigerians last year here demanding immediate police probe into stabbing of one of the co-Nigerian in north coastal belt.

Recently Goa BJP Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar faced flak from senior Congress leaders for naming a nationality for the illegal acts of some individual Nigerians in Goa.

Earlier during his press conference Mr. Naik opposed the satellite port project for Goa-based major port of Mormugao, which is an offer made by Union Minister for Shipping Nitin Gadkari to Goa State by seeking a land of 75 acres from the State government. He said this will be yet another white elephant which would displace lot of locals without much benefits to the State.

He welcomed projects like tourist jetties which will give tourism benefits to the State.

The former Chief Minister said that Goa is a tiny State with a total of 3600 sq. km of total land. Already Central government has projects like ONGC, MPT, recent Defence Expo occupying a lot of land in this State.

He demanded the State government set up an expert committee to study the State’s total land area, how much has been already occupied as residential, how much is the forest area that needs to be protected and preserved, how much area has been allotted to various Central establishments including upcoming second airport and how much area has actually remained which can be allotted to more projects.

He criticised the “senseless” development projects which would only displace local people and increase inward migration in this State beyond its intake capacity”.

Speechless!
