Elias almost salvaged the required draw but the unmarked midfielder failed to score inside the six-yard box with three minutes to play. Brazil coach Dunga did not pick the likes of Marcelo, Thiago Silva, Neymar, David Luiz, Firmino for the competition. Brazil join another powerhouse Uruguay in exiting the 2016 Copa America at the group stage.
