ITS OFFICIAL! BORUSSIA DORTMUND HAVE GOTTEN THEIR MAN

Marc Bartra will play for Borussia Dortmund next season. The Catalan center-back has not had the necessary minutes under the orders of Luis Enrique so, according to different media, he will be transferred to the German team, which will pay €8 million, the reduced clause —it dropped from €40M to €8M because of Bartra's little participation.

Bartra wanted to leave his future decided before the start of the Euro 2016 in France. FC Barcelona wanted to renew him and send him on loan, or at least have a repurchase option, but finally the Catalan seems to have left on a transfer.

Bartra is negotiating last details of his new contract with Borussia Dortmund and undergoing medical tests.

Borussia Dortmund recently lost their captain and starting center-back, Mats Hummels, who has signed for Bayern Munich. Bartra will take his place and might have minutes in the Bundesliga.

FC Barcelona confirmed Bartra's departure some hours after the piece of news came out on the media. The club wanted to wish luck to the player and invited him to a farewell in the beginning of next season, the same they told Alves.

Batra's career stats at Barca:
  •  La Liga: 2009–10, 2010–11, 2012–13, 2014–15, 2015–16
  •  Copa del Rey: 2011–12, 2014–15, 2015–16
  •  Supercopa de España: 2013

Batra has never had a good playing time at Barcelona, maybe because he never cut it for any manager. This is an evidence from his career build-up.

2002. Signs for Barcelona's youth teams.

2009-2010. Playing for Luis Enrique in Barcelona B, they gain promotion to Second Division.

2010. Debut with the first team in a defeat at El Calderon against Atletico Madrid. Pep Guardiola was the manager.

2010 - 2011 and 2011 - 2012. With Pep Guaridola in the bench, he doesn't have many chances.

2012 - 2013. 16 matches under Tito Vilanova.

2013 - 2014. His best season. 30 matches under Gerardo Tata Martino.

2014 - 2016. With Luis Enrique he has played less than half the matches of the season. He's been left out of the squad many times.
